Jorina Elbers, MD, MS
Dr. Elbers is a board-certified neurologist with undergraduate training in kinesiology, medical residency training in pediatric neurology, and subspecialty training in pediatric stroke. She has a Master's degree in Epidemiology from Stanford University. She worked as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Stanford’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital between 2012-2018, and has published over 25 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters. After 10 years in academia, she began working as the Director of the Trauma Recovery Program at the HeartMath Institute, a local non-profit organization. She is certified in HeartMath and Brainspotting and brings a trauma-informed lens to adults and children with chronic medical symptoms.
